Kayvon Gordon is a New York City–based jazz musician whose work leans toward free-jazz structures and open improvisation. In club settings such as Bar Bayeux, Gordon appears in small-group lineups that emphasize listening and real-time response.

George Schuller is a jazz drummer whose work moves between straight-ahead swing and open-ended free improvisation. The son of composer Gunther Schuller, he carries a musician’s grounding in structure while staying alert to rupture and surprise.
