Bobby Harden With Off Da Hook
About This Event
Bobby Harden — who joined the Blues Brothers Band in 2012 and was recognized by Eddie Floyd for similar Soul Man qualities — appears at Arthur's Tavern billed as "Bobby Harden with Off Da Hook." Off Da Hook, a loose jazz/free-improv outfit tied to the club scene with a small streaming footprint and tags leaning toward g-funk and West Coast hip hop, favors looseness and quick-response interplay alongside Harden's soul-rooted approach.
About the Artists
Bobby Harden
How do you define a true Soul Man? With difficulty, given that so much is down to a certain mystical Mojo. But if anyone knows one when they see him, it would be Stax legend Eddie Floyd, who has spent 60-plus years perfecting the role.
