About This Event
Tyler Ann Blanton, a visual artist and former ballerina, leads the four-piece Tyler Blanton Quartet, a jazz ensemble, at The Django. She trained in classical ballet in New York City, Russia and Tbilisi, Georgia; earned a B.A. in Studio Art from Smith College; and received an M.A. in Painting from NYU after study abroad in Venice, where she lived and worked for seven years.

Tyler Ann Blanton is a visual artist living in Charleston, S.C. working in experimental mixed media painting. A former ballerina, her study of the arts began in New York City, Russia and Tbilisi Georgia with classical ballet and continued with painting.
