Dos Flakos, Jeremy Giros, Bendito, Sunny Cheeba, Cosmo - Dead Letter No.9

Dos Flakos is a New York City–based DJ working in electronic styles that pull from jersey club, Baltimore club, ballroom, and Latin house. They have appeared at Cargo at Dead Letter No. 9, sharing bills there with Maddylane, SMURFOUDIRTY, and Raphael Ernesto.

Jeremy Giros is a New York City–based DJ and electronic selector associated with Nowadays. Working in and around latin house, he builds sets from rhythmic continuity and gradual shifts in energy rather than abrupt pivots.

Bendito is an emerging electronic DJ in New York City’s club circuit, heard at Nowadays and in bills that bring together local selectors and producers. Their sets sit in a house-leaning continuum, mixing direct DJ mechanics with moments that nod to live electronic texture.

Sunny sat down with Ora, Co-Founder of Queer Aperitivo, to talk about her journey as both DJ by night, farmer by day and how these seemingly different worlds form a cohesive vision of liberation.

Cosmo is an English electronic musician, composer, and producer whose work moves between live hardware performance and DJ sets. Raised in a family where science and the voice coexisted—through Rupert Sheldrake and Jill Purce, and alongside his brother Merlin—he developed a practice attentive to timbre and pattern.
