Lady Heroine, Nectarine Girl, Fruit Punch
About This Event
Lady Heroine, Nectarine Girl and Fruit Punch form a three-act bill at Mercury Lounge. Lady Heroine offers guitar-forward songcraft built for close rooms; Nectarine Girl moves between bedroom pop and alternative R&B, using timing, repetition and restrained physical detail as a score for choreography; Fruit Punch is a web comic written and illustrated by Carrie Thorn, adding a narrative-visual counterpoint to the evening.
About the Artists
Lady Heroine
Lady Heroine is a New York City–based rock/pop artist who appears on local bills such as the three-act night at Mercury Lounge alongside Nectarine Girl and Fruit Punch. With an emerging Spotify profile (about 8K followers), her work sits between guitar-forward songcraft and pop structure, built for close rooms rather than grand staging.
Nectarine Girl
Nectarine Girl is a dance artist whose work has appeared on mixed bills at Berlin, alongside Lora Mouna and Wulfer. Her practice moves between the intimacy of bedroom pop and the phrasing of alternative R&B, using those textures as a score for choreography.
Fruit Punch
One normal girl. One strange fruit. Many complications. A web comic written and illustrated by Carrie Thorn.
