About This Event
Triage is an individual artist working in the abrasive margins of grindcore and mathcore, where extreme tempo shifts and compressed riffs do most of the talking. The name nods to emergency-response triage, a system for sorting urgent needs when resources are limited, a fitting metaphor for music built from rapid decisions and hard cuts. At BAM, Triage presents a live set that treats structure as something to be tested in real time and favors precision over spectacle.
About Triage
A triage tag is a tool first responders and medical personnel use during a mass casualty incident. With the aid of the triage tags, the first-arriving personnel are able to effectively and efficiently distribute the limited resources and provide the necessary immediate care for the victims until more help arrives. Triage tags were first introduced by Baron Dominique Jean Larrey, a French surgeon in Napoleon's army.
