Larratt/Stephens Quartet
About This Event
The Larratt/Stephens Quartet performs at Smalls Jazz Club, presenting a working New York band that tests small-band language in real time. Drawing on the city's straight-ahead tradition while leaving room for open forms and quick shifts in tempo and harmony, the quartet favors clarity, close listening and compact solos; the shared Larratt/Stephens billing reflects a collaborative approach to leadership and repertoire.
