About This Event
Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), written by Jim Barne and Kit Buchan, moved from regional UK productions in 2019 to London in 2023 and the West End in 2024 before opening on Broadway. Its Longacre Theatre run presents a cast shaped by successive transfers, including Sam Tutty returning opposite Christiani Pitts, and the piece favors clean, character-led musical theatre over spectacle.
