THURS 8 & 9:30 Peter Kronreif w/Chris McCarthy, Adam Kolker, Jeremy Stratton
About This Event
Brooklyn-based drummer Peter Kronreif brings a book of original compositions on Aeronautics to Bar Bayeux with pianist Chris McCarthy, saxophonist Adam Kolker and Jeremy Stratton. McCarthy shapes ensembles from the keyboard with harmonic and tactile cues, Kolker contributes composed and improvisatory sax work, and Stratton’s approach—between modern jazz and freer improvisation—keeps the group focused on responsive interplay and shifting textures rather than fixed arrangements.
