New Jersey Symphony
About This Event
At NJPAC the New Jersey Symphony features bassist Christian McBride. McBride brings a long career in jazz—regular engagements at the Village Vanguard and collaborations with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Savannah Harris—to a setting normally associated with orchestral repertory. The program juxtaposes his improvisational experience and ensemble leadership with the Symphony’s work in classical and contemporary music.
