Our Town

Thornton Wilder’s *Our Town* (1938) returns in a live staging at Queens Theatre. Set in the fictional Grover’s Corners in the early 1900s, the play follows ordinary routines—meals, school, courtship, illness—until time itself becomes the subject. It has a long New York theater history, moving from Broadway into the city’s repertory and classrooms as a touchstone of American drama.
