Steve Coleman is a New York–based saxophonist and composer whose work moves between free jazz and rigorously structured forms. At Roulette, he appears with his long-running ensemble Five Elements, including on bills such as Pi Recordings’ 25th Anniversary Celebration alongside Marc Ribot.
