Terry Waldos Gotham City Band
About This Event
Terry Waldo’s Gotham City Band is led by pianist Terry Waldo and works in jazz with a free-leaning edge, moving between arranged passages and open improvisation. In Arthur's Tavern's close quarters the group's emphasis on ensemble listening and shifting rhythms, which loosen and tighten within a single tune, is shaped by the room's acoustics and history. The band often appears on listings as "Terry Waldos Gotham City Band."
