Miki Yamanaka Quartet
About This Event
Miki Yamanaka brings her New York–based quartet to Smalls Jazz Club, moving between standards, open forms and free improvisation while favoring clarity and forward motion. Also on the bill, the ELEW Trio—heard around New York clubs and practiced in close dialogue with a featured tenor voice—emphasizes clear lines and small-room exchange that allow for extended improvisation.
