Night of Nicks - The Stories - The Music - Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac
About This Event
Night of Nicks — The Stories — The Music at City Winery NYC pairs the persona of Stevie Nicks with the wider catalog of Fleetwood Mac. The billing gestures toward both Nicks’s solo profile and the band’s evolution from late-1960s blues roots to the mid-1970s California soft-rock era, a repertoire defined more by songcraft and ensemble tension than by virtuosic display.
About Night of Nicks - The Stories - The Music - Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac
At City Winery NYC, “Night of Nicks — The Stories — The Music” frames Stevie Nicks as both solo auteur and essential voice within Fleetwood Mac’s shifting history. The set moves between Nicks-era anthems and the band’s earlier turns, tracing a path from late-1960s blues foundations to 1970s West Coast pop-rock craft. The production treats songs as documents, with brief narration used to place them in time rather than inflate them. Its clearest critical point is that the material holds up best when the storytelling stays spare and lets the writing carry the weight.
