Rock/Pop
Deerhoof, Mercy, My Trio
About This Event
My Trio appears on a bill with Deerhoof and Mercy at Elsewhere. Their songs sit between melody and abrasion and their performances favor tight construction over spectacle, letting shifts in rhythm and tone do the work. With a small streaming footprint and a history of sharing bills with the other acts, My Trio reads as a live-focused project in New York’s DIY rooms.
About the Artist
My Trio
My Trio is an emerging rock/pop group heard in New York City rooms like Elsewhere, where the band’s songs sit comfortably between melody and abrasion. They have shared bills with Deerhoof and Mercy, a context that frames their music in the DIY club circuit rather than the mainstream.
