About This Event
The Tyler Blanton Quartet, a four-piece jazz ensemble, appears at The Django. Tyler Ann Blanton is a Charleston-based visual artist and former ballerina who studied classical ballet in New York, Russia and Tbilisi, earned a B.A. in Studio Art from Smith College and an M.A. in Painting while studying abroad with NYU in Venice, where she lived and worked for seven years; that multidisciplinary background may shape the quartet’s approach.

Tyler Ann Blanton is a visual artist living in Charleston, S.C. working in experimental mixed media painting. A former ballerina, her study of the arts began in New York City, Russia and Tbilisi Georgia with classical ballet and continued with painting.
