About This Event
Tyler Ann Blanton is a visual artist based in Charleston who studied classical ballet in New York, Russia and Tbilisi and holds a B.A. from Smith College and an M.A. in Painting from NYU, after seven years living and working in Venice. She leads the Tyler Blanton Quartet at The Django, bringing a cross-disciplinary background in dance and experimental painting to the quartet's work.

Tyler Ann Blanton is a visual artist living in Charleston, S.C. working in experimental mixed media painting. A former ballerina, her study of the arts began in New York City, Russia and Tbilisi Georgia with classical ballet and continued with painting.
