BLURSDAY presents Amulet, Slamwich, Ashes at Last, If Bullets Could Talk and Ursa at the Market Hotel. Amulet grew out of Amulet Records, the New Jersey label founded by percussionist-composer and visual artist Billy Martin in 1995 and is rooted in percussion-driven, avant-garde experimental work; Ursa shares a name with Third Eye Blind’s 2009 album Ursa Major, framing a bill that crosses experimental and rock-leaning references.

Amulet Records is a record label based in New Jersey specializing in percussion, avant-garde, and experimental music. The label was established by the percussionist composer and visual artist Billy Martin in 1995, inspired by a percussion session with the Lounge Lizards drummers Grant Calvin Weston and Billy Martin who released their first duet record Percussion Duets in 1997.
