THE CRAFT

THE CRAFT looks at craft as learned labor, where knowledge moves through bodies as much as through tools. Staged as a dance work, it traces repetition, apprenticeship, and the small adjustments that turn practice into technique. At Littlefield in Brooklyn, the piece treats the stage like a workshop floor, asking what gets preserved when skills are passed on and what gets lost when they aren’t. Its plain structure is its argument: the work insists that making is a form of memory.
