Rodrigo y Gabriela - OurHome Tour
About This Event
Rodrigo y Gabriela are an acoustic rock duo known for instrumental performances that fuse rock and pop idioms with influences ranging from Metallica to the cinematic textures of Pirates of the Caribbean. They bring that repertoire and virtuoso guitar technique to The Bowery Ballroom as part of the OurHome Tour; their work has earned a Grammy and included performances at the Beacon Theatre.
About OurHome Tour
Rodrigo y Gabriela bring their OurHome Tour to The Bowery Ballroom, pairing two acoustic guitars with a rock-and-pop vocabulary built for volume. Their instrumentals move between metal riff architecture and film-score phrasing, with references that can stretch from Metallica to blockbuster themes without turning into pastiche. In New York, a room like this keeps the focus on mechanics: attack, rhythm, and the silence between notes. One clear point emerges. The duo treats virtuosity as arrangement, not display.
