MUSIC! with FLEA is a performance project centered on Michael “Flea” Balzary, best known as the founding bassist and long-running anchor of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In New York City, the project has appeared at the Knitting Factory, bringing his funk-rock vocabulary into a club setting built for close listening.

Flea is a bassist and songwriter best known as a founding member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, anchoring the group across its full album run. His work extends into experimental and collaborative projects, including Atoms for Peace, Antemasque, and Rocket Juice & the Moon, alongside sessions with artists ranging from Tom Waits to Johnny Cash.
