About This Event
Tyler Ann Blanton, a visual artist based in Charleston, leads the Tyler Blanton Quartet at The Django. A former ballerina trained in New York, Russia and Tbilisi and a painter with a B.A. from Smith College and an M.A. from NYU who lived and worked in Venice for seven years, Blanton's interdisciplinary background informs the quartet's approach to composition and performance.

Tyler Ann Blanton is a visual artist living in Charleston, S.C. working in experimental mixed media painting. A former ballerina, her study of the arts began in New York City, Russia and Tbilisi Georgia with classical ballet and continued with painting.
