Leenalchi, a South Korean pansori pop band formed in 2019, performs at Pioneer Works. The group pairs traditional pansori vocal technique and narrative singing with contemporary pop rhythms and ensemble arrangements. The presentation places Korean narrative songmaking within a concert context in New York.
