    About This Event

John Zorn’s Simulacrum is presented at Roulette by New York–based composer and saxophonist John Zorn. His work moves between contemporary classical writing and experimental improvisation, assembling shifting ensembles and abrupt stylistic contrasts that draw on jazz, rock, Jewish music and film-rooted atmospheres; he has previously appeared at Roulette with projects such as the New Masada Quartet, which reframes his Masada book through tighter chamber interplay.
