About PRETTY MAJOR Pride Edition
PRETTY MAJOR Pride Edition lands at The Bell House as a Pride-season hybrid of stand-up and music, hosted by Jay Jurden and Nico Carney. Jurden brings the pace and observational clarity of a comic shaped by New York rooms like the Comedy Cellar and Union Hall, while Carney draws on musical-theatre instincts within a rock/pop frame. In a city where Pride programming can drift into branding, this format keeps the attention on craft and point of view. It reads as part of NYC’s long tradition of queer nightlife as a working laboratory for new material.
