Guitarist Will Bernard, a Berkeley native and Brooklyn transplant, leads the Will Bernard Group at The Django. He studied guitar and piano with Dave Creamer, Art Lande and Julian White and earned a music degree from UC Berkeley, where he studied with Andrew Imbrie; his grounding in classical composition informs the group's approach to jazz repertoire.
