Atom String Quartet is a Poland-based ensemble that treats the string quartet as a jazz band, working without drums and leaning on interlocking lines for pulse and momentum. The group came to broader attention with *Fade In*, drawn from a 2011 Radio Katowice concert and recognized in Poland with a Fryderyk for jazz debut.
