About the Artists
Liquid Earth
Liquid Earth came to be in the fall of 1996 under the name Sacred Grounds which we quickly outgrew and thusly changed in 1998 to the current standard … Liquid Earth! From our inception all the food and drink created “by us” has also been ”for us”, and subsequently you! In truth Liquid Earth was an answer to our personal lifestyle and nutritional needs.
Ryan Crosson
Hailing from the dynamic musical landscape of Detroit, Ryan Crosson emerges as a multifaceted force in the global electronic music scene. Seamlessly blending his energetic roots with a refined artistic sensibility, Crosson is a sonic explorer with one foot on the dance floor and the other in uncharted sonic realms.
Autumn Tree
Autumn Tree is a New York City–based electronic artist and DJ whose work sits in the spaces between club utility and listening-room detail. At Signal, they have appeared on lineups alongside Liquid Earth and Ryan Crosson, moving through patient builds and tightly edited transitions.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is a New York City–based electronic artist and DJ whose work moves between club pacing and live performance structure. A regular presence at BASEMENT, they have appeared on bills alongside Ann, Sept, Auspex, Colored Craig, Kilopatrah Jones, and Mark Holcomb, including the Altær series.
cotton
Cotton candy, also known as candy floss (candyfloss) and fairy floss, is a spun sugar confection that resembles cotton. It is made by heating and liquefying sugar, and spinning it centrifugally through minute holes, causing it to rapidly cool and re-solidify into fine strands.
Matas
Matas is a DJ seen in New York City lineups at Nowadays, where long-form nights and patient pacing are part of the room’s culture. He has shared bills with Aurora Halal, DJ Hell, Maara, Lis Dalton, Naone, and Zeynep, including Sustain-Release Nonstop programs that emphasize endurance and range.
