Chilean American singer, poet and multi-instrumentalist Francisca Valenzuela performs at National Sawdust. Her work moves between pop structure and a Latin rock edge; she built a following in Chile and across Latin America with albums Muérdete La Lengua and Buen Soldado, later releasing Tajo Abierto on her Frantastic label (a Latin Grammy nomination) and continuing with Sony Music Chile on La Fortaleza and Vida tan Bonita. Onstage she favors clarity over spectacle.
