    About This Event

Alto and soprano saxophonist Eric Person brings his quartet to The Django, balancing open-ended free-jazz language with a clear melodic throughline. Based in New York since 1982 and leader of Meta-Four, Person has performed with McCoy Tyner, Dave Holland, Donald Byrd, Chico Hamilton and the World Saxophone Quartet, as well as with Vernon Reid and Bootsy Collins. The program draws on his decades-long work across jazz and rock/funk spheres.
