Michelle Wolf: Best Job in the World
About This Event
Michelle Wolf, a stand-up comedian, writer, producer and TV host whose career moved through New York’s late-night comedy circuit, performs at Town Hall. She wrote and performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers before joining The Daily Show with Trevor Noah; national attention followed her 2018 White House Correspondents’ Dinner set, and she later hosted Netflix’s The Break and the special Joke Show. Her comedy favors direct language and tight argument over spectacle.
About Best Job in the World
“Best Job in the World” arrives at Town Hall as a live comedy event, with featured performer Michelle Wolf. The show works in the long New York tradition of stand-up as civic commentary, using the stage to test what the city will laugh at right now. Town Hall’s history as a venue for public speech gives the material a sharper frame than a club setting. The earned observation is that the room’s formality can make the punchlines land with cleaner contrast.
