Hokus Pokus Live!
About This Event
Hokus Pokus Live at Town Hall brings together Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Landon Cider, and Sapphira Cristal in a theatrical showcase. Ginger Minj—stage persona of Joshua Allen Eads—pairs a RuPaul’s Drag Race résumé and a 2025 All Stars win with screen credits (including Hocus Pocus 2) and three studio albums that foreground songwriting; Jujubee, Landon Cider (Boulet Brothers Dragula Season 3 SuperMonster), and Sapphira Cristal bring work oriented toward character, timing, and theatrical storytelling.
About Hokus Pokus Live!(play)
At Town Hall, *Hokus Pokus Live!* arrives as a stage event that treats drag not as novelty but as performance craft, mixing scripted play structure with concert-style presence. Featured performers include Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Sapphira Cristal, and Landon Cider, each bringing distinct traditions of comedy, lip-sync, and character work. No specific NYC premiere history is widely documented, but its placement in a midtown landmark signals how drag has moved into the city’s mainstream cultural venues. The piece’s sharpest idea is that spectacle can function as storytelling, not decoration.
