BERES HAMMOND & BEENIE MAN
About This Event
At the Prudential Center, Beres Hammond and Beenie Man share a bill that brings together Hammond's roots-oriented songwriting and smooth, romantic vocal delivery with Beenie Man's dancehall and ragga command of riddim and rapid-fire phrasing. Hammond's songs emphasize melody and romantic themes; Beenie Man foregrounds rhythmic drive, a style that earned him multiple DJ of the Year honors and a 2001 Grammy for Art and Life.
