About The Rats In A Cage Tour
“The Rats In A Cage Tour” arrives at Barclays Center as a live rock/pop event anchored by The Smashing Pumpkins. The tour frames a familiar arena format around long-form songs, dense guitar work, and a catalog that has traveled from alternative radio into the city’s larger mainstream venues. New York has long served as a proving ground for rock tours, and a Brooklyn stop signals that shift in scale and audience. One fair note: the set’s precision can read as controlled, even when the material reaches for chaos.
