Colin Hallahan, a funk/pop singer-songwriter and flute player who studied aerospace engineering at Purdue, appears with trombonist/vocalist Sophia Griswold, who spent six months performing in the official band at Expo 2020 Dubai, and dancer Jessica Woodlee, whose work has appeared on Berlin bills. The evening at Berlin pairs Hallahan’s pop songwriting and flute with Griswold’s brass-and-voice experience and Woodlee’s small-room, collaborative dance practice.
