Robert Barisford Brown Sr., known as Bobby Brown, appears at Outer Heaven as part of an electronic/DJ bill. Credited alongside Teddy Riley as a pioneer of new jack swing and as a founding member of New Edition, he helped fuse R&B and hip‑hop during the 1980s and 1990s. Brown left New Edition in 1985 to pursue a solo career and later rejoined for the 1996 album Home Again.
