At the Imperial Theatre, Chess assembles a Broadway-centered cast led by Aaron Tveit, who returns to the role of Freddie Trumper; Tveit is a Tony Award–winning actor noted for clear musical line and direct storytelling. The company includes Lea Michele, Hannah Cruz, Bradley Dean, Sean Allan Krill, Nicholas Christopher and Bryce Pinkham. Aaron Tveit
Aaron Tveit is an American actor and singer whose work is closely tied to New York City’s Broadway stages, including appearances at the Imperial Theatre. He originated Christian in Broadway’s *Moulin Rouge!*, earning a Tony Award for leading actor, and has also been heard in roles across *Wicked*, *Next to Normal*, *Catch Me If You Can*, and *Sweeney Todd*.
Hannah Cruz
Hannah Cruz is a New York–based actress and singer whose work centers on Broadway musicals. She drew attention for creating Inez Milholland in *Suffs* and for her work in the original company of *The Connector*, earning a 2024 Clarence Derwent Award for those performances.
Bradley Dean
Bradley Dean is a New York–based stage and screen performer whose work centers on Broadway and large-scale musicals. At the Imperial Theatre, he appears in *Chess* alongside Aaron Tveit, Lea Michele, Hannah Cruz, and Sean Allan Krill, in a company that also includes Nicholas Christopher and Bryce Pinkham.
