    About This Event

The Fleshtones, a Queens garage-rock band formed in 1976 and fronted by guitarist/vocalist Keith Streng and vocalist/keyboardist Peter Zaremba, bring their self-described "Super Rock" blend of garage, R&B and psychedelia to the Bowery Ballroom. They share the bill with The Minus 5, Scott McCaughey's pop-rock project often partnered by R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, offering a contrast between local garage roots and McCaughey's collaborative approach to pop rock.
