Summer for the City features Orestes Gómez, a Venezuelan-born producer and drummer known for his innovative approach to Afro-Caribbean music. Gómez blends traditional rhythms with contemporary influences from pop, jazz, and hip-hop, creating a unique sound that reflects his diverse musical background. This performance is part of the free public concert series at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, which showcases a variety of artistic expressions, including new music, jazz, contemporary classical, dance, spoken word, and experimental forms. Admission is free and open to all.
