Summer for the City features The Tune Up — A Juneteenth Celebration, a musical event created by playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. This program showcases original storytelling through a dynamic performance that honors the significance of Juneteenth. The concert is part of a series of free public events held at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, which presents a diverse range of artistic expressions, including new music, jazz, contemporary classical, dance, spoken word, and experimental forms. Admission is free and open to all.
