Jihee Heo Quartet
About This Event
Pianist Jihee Heo brings her quartet to Smalls Jazz Club, working in the small-group tradition that balances written frameworks with open improvisation and close listening. The bill pairs Heo's group with guitarist Chris Bergson — a New York Blues Hall of Fame Master Blues Artist — whose blues-rooted originals and direct phrasing have shaped their shared appearances; the program emphasizes ensemble cohesion and tight small-group interplay.
