Los Retros is the project of Oxnard musician Mauricio Tapia, who has released indie rock recordings since 2017 and often tracks the instruments himself. His music, situated between latin indie and bedroom pop, is built on soft grooves, chorus-heavy guitars and unhurried vocals; he brings that studio-minded, intimate approach to the stage at LPR (Le Poisson Rouge) in New York.
