Bush Tetras

Bush Tetras is a New York City post-punk and No Wave group formed in 1979, rooted in the downtown club circuit that shaped the early-’80s scene. The band is closely associated with “Too Many Creeps,” a track that helped define their clipped bass lines, angular guitars, and pointed delivery.

Dead Tooth is a Queens-based rock/pop artist with a steady presence in New York City’s club circuit, appearing at rooms like Baby’s All Right, LPR (Le Poisson Rouge), the Knitting Factory, and TV Eye. The project turns up on mixed bills that map the city’s underground network, including sets alongside Contract, Death Drive, Bush Tetras, Wax Jaw, Joudy, Drager, and Desert Sharks.
