About This Event
Common People, a rock/pop project that has appeared on recent bills including Rainbow Kitten Surprise: bones North American Tour, appears at Irving Plaza. The name echoes Pulp’s 1995 single "Common People," a cultural reference that frames expectations before the first note. Live, the project favors direct, song-forward arrangements over theatrical staging, aligning it with an indie-rock circuit built for tight dynamics and clear hooks.
