About This Event
Tyler Ann Blanton, a visual artist and former ballerina whose training in New York City, Russia and Tbilisi preceded a B.A. from Smith College and an M.A. in Painting through NYU, leads the Tyler Blanton Quartet in a jazz performance at The Django. Blanton works in experimental mixed-media painting and spent seven years living and working in Venice; that multidisciplinary background informs her work as leader of the quartet.
