Honeycomb / Ariathome
About This Event
The Honeycombs, a north London group formed in 1963 and best known for their 1964 million-selling single "Have I the Right?", play Brooklyn Bowl as part of a bill with Ariathome. The band's brief recording history — and the presence of Honey Lantree, one of the few high-profile female drummers of the era — frames a short-lived act that disbanded by 1967.
About the Artist
Honeycomb
Honeycomb traces back to the early-1960s London beat scene, where the group first took shape and soon broke through with a major 1964 hit. The lineup became notable for drummer Honey Lantree, a rare visible woman behind the kit in that era’s rock bands.
