San Holo presents TRUE LOVE IN A MADE UP WORLD
About This Event
Sander van Dijck, known as San Holo, is a Dutch producer, songwriter and DJ whose work moves between melodic bass and pop‑structured electronic music; he first reached a wide audience with a remix of Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” and has released on Spinnin’, Owsla, Monstercat and his Bitbird imprint. At The Rooftop at Pier 17 he presents TRUE LOVE IN A MADE UP WORLD, bringing his songwriting approach to a live electronic set.
About TRUE LOVE IN A MADE UP WORLD
“TRUE LOVE IN A MADE UP WORLD” arrives in New York as a rock/pop live set staged at The Rooftop at Pier 17, with San Holo among the featured performers. The title frames the evening around affection and artifice, pairing intimate songwriting with the constructed reality of a waterfront venue built for spectacle. There’s no widely documented NYC premiere history attached to the work, but its themes land cleanly in a city that constantly reinvents itself. One clear takeaway is how the music asks sincerity to hold its ground inside a designed environment.
