Ase Manual presents Sweet
About This Event
Ase Manual, a New York City–based electronic DJ whose sets move through ballroom vogue, Jersey club, Baltimore club and footwork, hosts and performs the party series "Ase Manual presents Sweet" at Honeys. At Honeys they shape the room through fast transitions and percussive density, privileging rhythmic structure over spectacle. Their work reads scene-adjacent and treats rhythm as the main narrative.
About Sweet
“Sweet” lands in New York as a hybrid night that treats comedy and club music as adjacent languages. At The Stand NYC and Honeys, comedian Seth Herzog anchors the room with tight, observational material, joined by Ase Manual as the sound shifts toward electronic and DJ-driven sets. The format nods to the city’s long habit of mixing scenes in small rooms, even if it hasn’t built a formal premiere history. Its best moments come when jokes and beats share the same rhythm rather than competing for attention.
