At Roulette, the CD-release concert Lukas Ligeti’s Notebook presents new work by Austrian composer and percussionist Lukas Ligeti. His compositions draw on jazz, contemporary classical music and diverse world musics—most notably African traditional and popular styles—placing rhythmic practice and cross-cultural textures at the center of the program.
