Tank and the Bangas, the New Orleans–based ensemble that won NPR's 2017 Tiny Desk Contest and earned a 2020 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, performs at Brooklyn Bowl. With three studio albums — Thinktank (2013), Green Balloon (2019) and Red Balloon (2022) — and a 2025 Grammy for the 2024 spoken-word album The Heart, The Mind, The Soul, the group mixes hip-hop, R&B and spoken-word traditions in concert.
